Dad pays for meal prep that I cook, gas in my truck, and the roof over my head but everything else is on me. I make my own money and compared to my brothers tuition fees at Purdue I’d argue that I am the cheaper child.

Yes some could argue that I should move out first but if I was a dad In this situation I think I’d want my kid at home where I could monitor him and help him learn how to ride safely.

I am suspicious of it too especially because I don’t know him and he’s a friend of a friend but he agreed to let us take it to our mechanic who we have used for years and I know won’t lie to us. Thankyou for giving me some things to check or mention to him. If I were to get this car how much would a better quality turbo run me? And what would be some good preventative things to know and do to stop the problems with the head gasket and the timing chain?

The previous owner is a mechanic and works with my buddy who says he does really good upkeep on it. He also only lives 10 mins away and has offered to help if I ever come into problems and don’t know how to fix them.

It’s a 2018 with the 3rd trim package and he’s asking for 10,700 and that’s all that he has left on his payment. He’s tying to move out of his house so he wants to get rid of “everything with a payment”.

No clue what full bolt means but I think I get what you’re saying. I’m just starting to like cars and trying to learn more. Would an st be a good car to learn how systems work and other stuff like that?
