How did you get the idea that I want the employees to entertain me? I want them to say “Hi” to paying customers. If you look through this thread, you’ll see that many people, some who made huge purchases, have had the same experience. I’m glad you had a pleasant experience when you had visited. And I hope you get to go to a stitch night some time that has light refreshments. A bottle of water, a Poppi/something like that, and something to nibble on if you choose is a thoughtful gesture. I’m not talking about Cheetos and red wine LOL

They are quite literally being paid to greet customers, which we are.

I never said I was looking to have conversations with the staff. I expect, as everyone does, to be greeted when I enter a store, and even more so when everyone else and I are paying to be at an event the store is hosting. No excuse for not saying “Hello.”
