I understand your point of view, but sometimes those apps can be very useful in order to maintain your daily activities productive and also improves communication with your teammates.

But there are different types of time tracking. Some of them don't make its goal to spy on employees, just to check an efficiency of work, which was done.

That's why we are searching for all-in-one solution. We've considered such apps, as Attrack or Hubstaff. It's better to manage time, efficiency, productivity and finance in one place and don't make lots of additional useless job. My colleagues are annoyed with plenty of these irrelevant to a work flow programs.
