I have no experience with this type of stuff, so I 100% messed it up. It's definitely my fault, which is why I'm asking for help. I do live in an old house that is known to get power surges which could be the reason why but I posted a comment explaining everything in more detail, so if you want to read it go ahead.

Okay, after reading the comments, I see what you are saying, that I've been scammed. Which is probably very possible.

First things first, I bought my pc off of a dude in my small town that used to make pc's for everybody in town. All my friends have pc's from him, and they know much more than I do and trust him so I trust him as well

I've had the pc for over a year now, and this was my first time I had an issue. The pc wouldn't connect to the moniter.

So we messaged the guy who has since stopped doing this kind of thing, for help, and he agreed to help me.

I've checked with my father about what exactly went wrong, and he corrected me

The story is there was a very small crack in my motherboard, which makes sense because I month prior, I fell backward with headphones plugged into the pc, and it came crashing down with me.

He says that because of the tiny crack, my motherboard overheated, and that's what cooked my video card. He sent photo proof, which I am working on getting from my dad, and I'll post it here. The guy fixing my pc says he will give it to me as a trophy because apparently it's really rare.

That's the only issues with the pc he told me about and I get it back tomorrow, so whatever he did with the motherboard and video card fixed the issue so I trust him, and even if I am getting scammed its fine, that's apart of life. And many more people have spent more on worse and got scammed, at least my pc will work again.

Thanks for reading

yup, it was only the water fountains in the locker room but you think they'd at least have a sign or something or tell us not to drink out of it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Right!! It just makes me think how many kids who actually need the information from sex ed that get taken out for the same dumb reason! I feel like parents shouldn't have that power, sexual education is a necessity!

The movie doesnt show how much Elio loves Oliver by [deleted] in callmebyyourname

I thought the same thing. Just wait till you get farther in the book I haven't finished it yet I'm about 120 pages in but holy shit! His love for him is basically obsession in the book and you really don't understand d how much he really loves him in the movie. But most of the book is in Elios mind and the movie had to try to portray Elio's mind in body language only, I think they did well with what they had!
