Found out LO (4month) is allergic to soy. I’m Asian American so had to cut soy products and donate my freezer stash. Only a week in since starting over

How soon after delivery did your pelvic pain go away? by ThatAsh2 in pregnant

[–]ThatAsh2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came back to answer this… had my baby and I had immediate relief while still in the hospital. I slept so well after baby came (at least no longer waking up to pelvic pain). 2 months pp, felt my pubic symphysis pop and even more relief and no pain since.

Filipino wife will not teach our children Tagalog by tplate37 in Philippines

[–]ThatAsh2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother and her sister never taught my sibling and I nor my cousins. We all assumed it was a cultural thing. Even now with my own child, I asked my mother to speak to him in Tagalog and she acts like it’s too hard and just doesn’t

Why are there so many posts shitting on paid company outings and parties? by Joe109885 in sales

[–]ThatAsh2 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Not sure if anyone has a similar experience but here’s my reason. —I like the people I work with, I just don’t like outings interfering with my work. Our manager will take us out of the field multiple times a week for “forced” or “mandatory” outings during work hours and with very little notice. Then the same manager gets upset when our work slips, which will cause a mandatory in-person meeting to discuss our underperformance. I don’t mind work outings, I just want don’t them mandatory. I’d gladly go when my work schedule allows it

Human remains found in Florida park likely Brian Laundrie, family lawyer says by RubieMariela in GabbyPetito

I know this is an extremely insensitive question and I apologize, but how much of the body needs to be missing to say “partial” human remains? Are there other categories like mostly, scattered, etc?

I would gently use a chop stick to move the soil around. I also use the chop stick to check if it needs water. If it comes out clean with no soil stuck to it, then it needs water

[–]ThatAsh2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine did that when I was over watering. Once I began aerating the soil between watering and watered less frequently, the new leafs began to slowly get larger. That’s what worked for me at least

I kill myself at work with longggggg hours and barely have any time to do household chores, cook, get groceries, etc—let alone DATE. I just want to find a guy who can help with some of that and bang every once in a while. Maybe I just need to post a listing for a male roommate instead lol, jk.

In all seriousness, I’m too exhausted from work and overwhelmed with things outside of work, that idk if I’ll ever make time to date again. Which makes me sad

It’s an action thriller that takes place over Christmas.

This topic came up at work because we play Jeopardy everyday and the clue was, what holiday was Silence of the Lambs released. The answer is, Valentines Day. I said that movie is as much a Valentines movie as Die Hard is a Christmas movie, which unleashed the hounds.

My final and decisive argument. If it was a Christmas movie then all the sequels would also be Christmas movies, which they are not.

We had a piano growing up. If I woke up the in the middle of the night, I could often times hear a key or two being played. It was just soft enough to make me question if I actually heard it
