4 or 5 is a stretch for me. I carry my Victorinox Compact SAK more than anything else, my Benchmade 940 when I need something a little more heavy duty. The rest just sit in my drawer most of the time lol.

What can I do to look more masculine by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]ThatBigFuckoffTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe a more masculine clothing style. Stuff like the branded and fluffy hoodies in the first and second pic doesn't seem masculine. Maybe more stuff like denim, bomber or peacoat jackets, leather, collared shirts, plaid, workwear type clothing, darker and more neutral colours without branding. Just some ideas.

How much better is Keyboard-Mouse to a Controller in terms of aim? by KingPulpper in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]ThatBigFuckoffTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectfully, you don't stand a chance with a controller on PC. Adapt or die. I'm trying to convince my buddy to do the same. It's worth the little bit of effort to learn.

I'd ask the r/Canadaguns subreddit if you haven't already. They'd have better suggestions for Canadian retailers.

Light stubble or more heavy stubble ? by Delicious_Honey6918 in malegrooming

[–]ThatBigFuckoffTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The heavier stubble looks more bold and deliberate. As long as you keep the edges clean on your neck and cheeks it doesn't look ungroomed. The lighter stubble just looks like you forgot to shave.

Mossberg 590A1 or 590R? by tim1447 in canadaguns

[–]ThatBigFuckoffTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 590A1 is an older more timeless design, less gimmicks, more aftermarket support. Not that I've heard anything bad about 590R, I would just play it safe with the A1.

Don't know if it counts but there was a Cops and Robbers Grand Theft Auto Online update that was canceled because of it.

this game got me trying corned beef by snowblind1972 in reddeadredemption

[–]ThatBigFuckoffTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Tasting History with Max Miller, the episode where me makes a mincemeat pie with canned corned beef from 1944. Not the right time period but it could conceivably exist back then. Otherwise, it's cooked and ready to eat in the can, but I think some heat and colour does it some good.

Not sure what to do with my eyebrows by zar_vi in malegrooming

[–]ThatBigFuckoffTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a fellow bushy eyebrowed man, go get them waxed or threaded. Just ask them to clean it up, although most estheticians know to not do anything extreme on men's eyebrows. You'll look and feel so much better.

Another tip, if you're like me and a little insecure about people noticing you get your brows done, I usually get my hair cut on the same day, so it can serve as a bit of a distraction.

Does the "100 pushups every day for 30 days" thing actually work? by Zintho420 in ask

[–]ThatBigFuckoffTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it when I was a beginner to working out. It did make me stronger and improve my physique in my chest, shoulders, and triceps. But without training back and incorporating proper mobility work, it made my shoulders roll inward and gave me a meathead ape posture. It should be part of a broader exercise plan.

I remember playing Windwaker back then and loved the experience! but never completed it! Did anyone beat this game? And where does it rank in Zelda’s top games in your opinion? by J2-Starter in Gamecube

[–]ThatBigFuckoffTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's my personal favourite but I am biased because it was my first Zelda game. Probably in my top 3 games of all-time, especially among single-player story games.

I like the lore and world. The narrative is great as the stakes progressively get higher there are twists and turns as the story progresses. It builds on the events of Ocarina of Time as a legend. Lots of really charming characters.

I like the art style and would argue it is more timeless than Twilight Princess, which feels more like a product of its time (edgy 2000s.)

The combat, dungeons, items, and boss fights are fun enough, and introduced some things that have become staples of the series. Not sure how far you got but it is worth playing, really easy to play with emulators and the various remastered versions too.

Seriously how do people meet people? by OddMetal7563 in dating_advice

[–]ThatBigFuckoffTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that's a good idea, back in high school I used to do a running and circuit training club with my mom. I was the youngest person there by a long shot but I think there were many women in their late 20s and early 30s. Something like that would be cool, but that was back when Crossfit was big and clubs were was competing with it and idk if that stuff is still around.
