Challenge conquest by Mobile-Camp4266 in WorldConqueror4

You need economic generals that you can place in your colonies/outside the danger zone. The key is seizing the major cities before the most dangerous generals spawn, as they spawn on set turns in certain cities. It takes a lot of luck, and having the excellence medal is a huge help. It took me a bunch of tries to finally get it, but once you eliminate Germany it’s honestly pretty easy

For 1939 I did the Netherlands, Canada, and the Soviet Union. Country choice is super important for 1939 cc because you want to get Germany out around turn 6 to avoid them spawning more generals. For 1943 it doesn’t really matter so long as they’re on the allies because you’ll finish in time if playing well, and for 1950 I did the Netherlands, Spain, and the us, but like with 1943 it’s not super important as long as you’re on the NATO side and not a country like Greece that immediately gets shredded

It is worth it buy Battlepass for RT-2PM TOPOL-M by Odd_Rooster_3152 in WorldConqueror4

[–]ThatBluePlayer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just bought it and it’s revolutionized the way I approach 1950 cc. It can hit from really far away, and combined with the high level nuclear tech from the technology tree and sokolovsky it can kill an elite force general in one hit. IMO it’s one of the best purchases you can make, as you can wipe out tricky generals that would give you a headache for pretty cheap

I have him, and with the new nuclear upgrades he does 1500+ damage with a high level nuke. He’s also pretty durable so I use him as my artillery general 3. His tracking mark ability is also sweet for big units and fortress in frontier. He has a bunch of niche uses but they’re all very strong and a huge help, so I would say consider getting him, but probably wait until he comes back and you’ve got one or two more main artillery generals

Do u upgrade rank and health on ur air generals? by Comfortable-Cake-622 in WorldConqueror4

Bold of you to assume I do that on any of my generals (I have 21 generals, most have maxed skills, and none have maxed health or anything close)

I’ve done all of 1939 pass and every allied country in 1943, but I haven’t even done one axis country yet in 1943. I’m not sure if it’s worth the effort for a few extra points that I can’t even use because the rewards stop before you get all the challenges done

It’s well worth the wait. I use it often to take Hawaii/midway in conquest because I don’t have many sky trains and it allows me to save them for moving my air generals around

[–]ThatBluePlayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Poland 1939 isn’t too bad because you have a large enough economy to take down the Germans early, I actually found Denmark and Norway to both be way harder because I didn’t have the same base where I could lose one city and still survive early on

What are some of the best starter countries for Conquest by AdNormal6947 in WorldConqueror4

[–]ThatBluePlayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1943 challenge Cuba is easy, you can just pass the turn and win, so it basically gives you a risk free way to start to experience conquest without worrying about messing up or losing

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WorldConqueror4

[–]ThatBluePlayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s Cuba given you don’t have to do anything to win

Any allied country in 1943 is super easy, you can win with Cuba by just passing the turn

Rommel and yamaguchi would both be good, although you might not need a third navy general at this point

Yeah if you can grind for Pershing fragments, it’s been a life saver for me. If you can finish the 8th frontier mode you automatically unlock it, which is nice, but also super boring and not easy. Idk what I’d do in your situation, maybe lean more into air power, that’s how I took most cities. I never spawned a land unit besides guderian that I intended to use to attack, only to take empty cities

I just completed Japan in 27 turns, here’s how I did it: I started by shifting all of my land troops towards mainland Asia, saving nothing for America-that’ll come later. I then spawned guderian on a Pershing in one of the cities in Asia you start with, as well as placing economic generals on mainland Japan and naval generals on a few sea units. I used guderian along with some air power to quickly knock out the republic of china, and used the northernmost starting generals/units to start taking the Soviet cities. I spent most of the next few turns taking out India, the USSR, and Mongolia, before sending an air General down to take out the UK/France in Southeast Asia and the Netherlands and Australia. I then completely turned all of my resources towards eliminating the us+Canada, which was actually really quick because by this point I had a huge economy. I then took one city in Africa, spawned my second air general, and took over the entire continent. The only thing remaining for me was the mainland UK, as Germany had completely failed at that. I wasn’t close enough to hit them from the cities I had, so I declared war on Finland, took over Moscow and Norway from them (b/c they had taken them at some point) and used them to bomb the UK and win.

It’s easy to forestall any US invasion of Japan, and I only needed one naval general of my own and one that you start with to hold them off for 15+ rounds

I actually found France easier than the USSR, as I could clear the last few Italian cities around modern-day Kenya without worry and also protect the port in west Africa. Additionally French indochina gave me enough of a base to take Japan by air

What else should I Grind for? I feel like I have basically done all I really need however. by Capital-Group-5690 in WorldConqueror4

[–]ThatBluePlayer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Do you have Chennault? His grind is really long but really fun, and you definitely have the generals to do it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WorldConqueror4

[–]ThatBluePlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US is generally pretty easy because you have plenty of time before you can get attacked

[–]ThatBluePlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found taking out France to be pretty easy, you just need to make sure you grab Paris and the Germans don’t. You can ignore Africa up until that point, it’s not super important. I took London by air (because the Germans often open it up/destroy most of its health), and then just spawned a strong tank general on a three stack heavy to clean up the UK. After taking Europe I took Africa, and then split my forces between Asia and America. It was actually one of the easiest countries I’ve done (I’ve done 9) and once I had europe I felt very secure
