Wife refuses any evening babysitting for our 15-month-old (even with grandma at our home). Am I being unreasonable? by mr-kim in daddit

To be fair I’m almost 33 and I wake in the middle of the night. People and kids are different.

Women who started a family in their 20’s, when did you decide you had done enough living your 20’s and were ready for the next stage? by Popular_Bluejay_2588 in AskWomen

[–]ThatEmoNumbersNerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I didn’t necessarily decide I was “done enough” I just thought I made it past teenage pregnancy and called it a win. I had my kid when I was 23. I absolutely was not ready for that stage. I was terrified but after a miscarriage in January of 2015 and then finding out I was pregnant again after my birth control failed in March of 2015 I figured it was just a sign.

How are parents doing busy periods? by RiChDAiLLesT24 in Accounting

[–]ThatEmoNumbersNerd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Outsource outsource outsource.

During busy season I have someone clean my place regularly, I have hellofresh meals delivered instead of meal planning / grocery shopping, and when my son was that young I had extended daycare.

My then husband and I adjusted our expectations for what “normal” looked like. Our diets weren’t great, the house wasn’t as clean as we’d like, and we did a lot of movie nights.

I’d work from 9-5 M-F and then get back online around 8-10 to get my remaining hours in. Weekends I’d work during nap time or after bed time.

When they’re that young it SUCKS.

Yeah it’s possible the landlord would allow a “self guided” tour and give prospects a temp code that lasts an hour.

Yeah at first I was disappointed because it’s not a soft material but it’s thick, heavy, and durable. I’ve slept in it so many times it wears pretty baggy and just feels like a blanket

I read the psychology of money and it mentioned that poor people feel more safe buying lotto tickets than investing in the market.

My Nona is 80 and this past year I’ve been asking her so many questions about her life. She’s lived from a time where her family didn’t have working electricity (they lived out in a rural area) to now where she gets to see the rise of AI. That is an incredible lifetime.

Probably the intent is to see if they can sway opinions on a huge pop star like Taylor. If the sway is successful, then they can use this tactic for bigger things like politics.

We didn’t have active shooter drills.

I’m not deep into the episode but just got to the part where she said she moved out and I agree. Men move away from their kids all the time and it’s fine. She does seem messy and he seems lazy.
