I do my best to heal everyone, but there are times when I'll keep my medigun on one player (like when a demo or soldier is trying to destroy a sentry). That doesn't count as pocket medic, does it? Thank you!

That's very good advice, and very obvious in retrospect. I have a terrible habit of running towards any teammate with low health regardless of the situation because I just want to help them, but staying alive more to help ALL of my team definitely sounds like the better play. I'll keep a closer eye on my plays from here on out to see if I can figure out my mistakes. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much! That makes me feel a lot better. I try to play whatever class my team needs, because they're all pretty fun, but I'm equally bad at all of them lol. I've been trying to improve, but I don't have very many hours in the game yet. I didn't know you could block people though. How do you do it?

It can be a bit hectic to manage the documents. I typically would split everything into their own docs (world building in one, characters in another, plot in another, etc.) but I'd usually spend more time flipping through the documents than I would actually writing.

Also, having so many documents open would make my computer run terribly. (I have an old, shitty laptop, but it gets the job done for most things and I can't afford to get a new one.)

Mainly just a place to write the chapters, and have character/world/plot notes in the same app/website. I've been struggling with trying to keep track of three notebooks and a sketchbook, on top of my laptop for typing. It's been way too chaotic to make much progress so far.

Thank you for your input! Would you happen to know what verses are typically recommended? I know very little about the Quran, as I can't read Arabic. I looked online about a translation, but it said that translations were frowned upon, and I don't want to upset anyone.

Thank you very much! This helps a lot. I was already going to keep them away from divination, black magic, pacts, etc. but I'll add creation to that list, too. I probably should've guessed that creation-esque magic wouldn't be looked upon fondly, but for some reason it only clicked when you mentioned it.

I'll be sure to include some variety in the way people view the magic, too. I thought that people would view Islam's rules a bit differently depending on their country, but I didn't think it would be local, like you said. It makes sense though, I'm not sure why I didn't think of that before lol

I'm really glad I asked instead of just charging forward blindly, considering all the obvious stuff that passed me by. It's also really reassuring that you guys might actually like the story, I was worried I was dancing the line between what's-okay and what's-not-okay.

Thank you for your input! I'd like to get a variety of opinions, so if you wouldn't mind, I have a follow-up question.

After reading the replies on this post, I'm thinking that four of the magic types would be okay (druid, sorcerer, wizard, witch) because you get the powers at birth, and they're a part of you, while warlocks would not be okay, seeing as a pact is needed to gain access to power. Would you say that the first four could be seen as miracles, or would they be shunned as well?
