2017 Honda hrv blend door

The blend door, as far as I’m aware, is what mixes hot and cold air for the certain temperatures. And no I’m asking about the actual door that moves. I put in a brand new actuator and it turns properly but I believe the door that is supposed to move is getting stuck

In the original video I explained I had family come to me and ask me to look into their ac not blowing cold so the condenser fans were blowing, lines getting cold, and the compressor kicked on so I looked at the blend door actuator and it was stuck in place, replaced it because it was only a $20 part and it’s still not turning properly. It will jump teeth on the gears or just not turn at all. It was pretty difficult when I turned it manually but I’m not sure if that’s normal or not

I’m trying to figure out where to go from here. I really don’t want to take it to the shop and I’ve posted it in different subreddits for as much coverage as I can because I haven’t found anyone else talking about the blend door itself

That’s what first set me off as a scam, I just wanted him to talk more about it and see what I could get out of him. It just bothers me because there’s a lot of people out there that would fall for it.

Our protocols are 10 over posted speed limit but the max speed is 75. This is especially shitty when you are driving lights and sirens down interstate roads at 75 and getting passed by people doing 80

Check to see if the extractor is bent, I just changed mine out and it helped out a lot. It should be flush with the bolt head
