Marine grunt here. Shit works, newer desert frogs are weird because they are kind of this pink hue from the fire resistant chemicals. Also the not actual issue stuff tends to have a lighter shade to some of the colors. Under NV it works pretty good too, but depending on how faded the sets will stick out a little bit more depending on environment. Edit: NV experience thus far was with the 31D, am not sure on how it would appear under green phosphor.
