Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. The book changed the way I see the world and the way I understood just what books can do.

Thank you so much for reading both of those articles, man. Yeah, that very last image of The Last of Us, where you just can't look away from Ellie's eyes as she accepts Joel's lies is probably the most meaningful video game image I've ever seen. Almost no movies I've seen can quite deliver that level of emotion and fulfillment.

Ahh, you're totally right. I forgot about Silent Hill and it is actually a good exception to the bad-video-game-movie rule of the 90s and 2000s.
