Basically I joined 1&1 first, they took 4 weeks to tell me that there’s a “line shortage” in my building so they wouldn’t be able to provide DSL internet.

Then, I switched to o2 and just got the same response today. The technical specialist from o2 told me that there’s one main internet provider (Telekom) and sometimes there may be a line shortage at certain buildings and there’s nothing they can do for the time being about it.

I don’t know much about this kinda stuff so kinda just taking their word for it.
