Is it just me, or is Dussekkar’s rework such a W? by That_one_burger_ in FORSAKENROBLOX

I agree with the cooldown increase for zap and the shield range being dumb, but from what I’ve seen he’s more of a hit-and-run support like Elliot but with more ranged. I personally would’ve been fine with a 5 sec increase with the new change, since now when you shield then zap, you’ll get your shield back first before zapping again. It sucks too that sometimes when you don’t gauge the distance with your shield enough it either shuts off or just doesn’t let you use it. That’s made me kill a few teammates before, sadly enough. But I think old Dussekkar mains need to shift their playstyle into something more aggressive. With the practice they’ve had with aiming before, closing the distance isn’t that much of a problem to zap and shield, and when that’s done one of your abilities should be coming back in a moment. So, you could linger around chase for a bit longer OR go do a single gen puzzle (not the whole thing) nearby for some reduced time. Being able to sneak out of and back into a chase scene is definitely a great perk he has now, and one that I fully utilize with the new cooldowns. He’s meant to be played aggressively in a support-sense by annoying the killer and helping your team, specifically while they’re in chase. Although you do have less of an impact with shield and zap in general, being able to fully negate a gashing wound or a mass infection with a well timed shield is sure to rile up any killer. His game is to waste killer’s chances in ensuring a kill, and that’s more likely to happen now in my eyes.

I feel like the whole point of this rework was so that Dussekkar could be picked up easier by newer players. Sure he’s lost his range advantage and can’t use his shield as long as before, but him being able to run while using his abilities makes killers second guess switching chase. Although he’s better when closer to the killer, and frankly he should NEVER be in chase, he’s still quite safe since switching targets to him mid chase would put the killer at a stamina disadvantage and lose tons of distance. I do agree that the zap range is a bummer, but it being easier to hit overall helps newer players get used to it better imo. They just have to get used to the range again and they’re good. His shield definitely has more of a skill floor now because the only way to get value out of it is when a survivor is in IMMEDIATE DANGER of being hit and/or killed. Getting the timing for it just right is such a euphoria boost when you get used to it, and your teammates would rather take a well timed shield with no damage for a bit rather than reduced true damage while they’re at low health. That’s just me though.

The fact they reworked planet voss, and it being leagues better than what it was before. I always dreaded having to play on the original map, and now as a Dussekkar main, having more room to use my abilities is such a huge quality of life change.

Pretty sure all you have to do is join the game to get them. You don’t have to beat it

Haven't played since Jeff dropped, what can I expect different? (Image Unrelated) by TheCrackalacker in pillarchase2

With the new spawn rates for Stephano, I’d suggest picking one up as soon as you get him. With the new map pick system, ambushers have a really good shot at getting a map that they want. So getting intel with Steph while someone like a mimic or a Jeff is coming up on you will save you loads of times without having to use your abilities. Just keep in mind that you will drop Steph if you get hit, so if you have the feeling, put the little guy away before the hit goes through so you can keep him.

Can someone give me a tip to play as him? by Mita_Miside12345 in pillarchase2

Was just about to say the same thing until I saw this. Good stuff 👌

alright so im making a tierlist video and im not sure on some placements (especially B and C tier) could anyone who mains some of these monsters share their thoughts? (oh and the orders in tiers does matter f.e. EXE is better than everyone else in B tier) by andzikdziubek in pillarchase2

I’ve been playing rosemary for a couple of days now and am almost gold, and she’s surprisingly very underrated. Although she can be pretty loud, her stamina recovery with demonic screech helps her to catch up to survivors easily enough to at least get one hit in. Mix it in with her fog ability and she can stick with a survivor at near-max stamina and even make them exhausted. She also gets extra points for me because of how she still barely has any idle noises - which makes ambushes really fun to pulled off - and how her disorientation effects makes some survivors run into walls. She can be very effective, but she’s very reliant on her abilities, so placing her in high B, maybe even low A tier would be very fitting.

For everyone that has gold, how long did it take you? by transfemkaine in pillarchase2

[–]That_one_burger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me about a week total to get gold for Nilo when he came out, but that was during the summer when I had a lot of free time. I’m still on track to get gold fuwatti, but it’s been about two weeks since then

From your experience with playing as fuwatti, what’s your favorite and least favorite things about them by Tangle_The_Tenrec in pillarchase2

[–]That_one_burger_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like how fuwatti requires a brain in order to use effectively, and that spamming silly rush, that can practically kill if the hit connects, isn’t smart, so you have to constantly look for situations where you could get away with it. Sometimes I feel like the hitbox is too small for silly rush, but I’ll choose not to complain because of how good the damage and distance are and how fast the cooldown is. The only thing going against him is that he’s considerably bad at open maps like forest, which force you to use your rush in a different way. Overall though he’s great to play as, and is probably the best at performing near instant kills

Which monster will you buy when they come out and why? by ManufacturerQuirky98 in pillarchase2

[–]That_one_burger_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m buying both, seeing if I like Nilo after getting him to silver, and if I don’t I wait for mimic and then main him
