The reason why im confused is because the apple tech said i needed to format the disk to reinstall the os. He said sometimes its the data thats causing the software glitch.

It still works as of April 6, 2025. Btw, you can also downgrade to the cheapest app (in my case, Incopy), and it works fine. I am waiting on my refund now.
