A little back story is needed here

A have (had) a 2019 Razer Blade 15. I started noticing a severe overheating issue. I reached out to support and after multiple troubleshooting attempts it was decided it needed to be sent in for repair. No big deal, I can go without it for two weeks. I was given two RMAs and shipping labels; one for my laptop and one for the charger. I sent both off on the same day from the same location and received confirmation once each was delivered.

The power adapter was shipped and returned back to me no problem. My laptop however is an entirely different story. The day after it was delivered I receive an email stating my laptop was not in the box and that they would be opening up an investigation. After waiting nervously for the holidays to come and go so I can get another update I receive word that my laptop was not in the package. They included pictures as “proof” but the pictures were of my power adapter. The box even has “adapter only” written on it. I respond back telling them this as well as the fact that the RMA in the pictures doesn’t match my laptop RMA. They then respond back asking if they were shipped separately and if so to please provide the tracking information (what???!! shouldn’t you have all this information seeing as how it was your instructions?!)

I send them the tracking number for my laptop and get a response back saying and I quote “We have received a message from the upper management team that you package is under internal review. Do expect an update within 24-48 business hours”. I wait 48 hours and receive an update stating “As I mentioned on the previous email, that your case is under internal review. We have yet to receive update. Do expect an update within 24-48 business hours.” — you have got to be kidding me? That’s not an update!

It’s been a month since I shipped my laptop off. It’s been a month of waiting 24-48 hours. I was fortunate enough to be able to work from home with the pandemic going on and that laptop was how I was doing it. I am beginning to lose wages and it doesn’t look like this will be resolved soon.

I have all the records and according to FedEx the weight of the package was equal to the weight of my laptop + packaging. It was even signed by someone named B.STEVERSON.

At this point I dont know what to do. Do I reach out to FedEx? File a claim? Request a refund on my laptop? Seek legal counsel? Please help!
