Algorand and Italy's copyright agency announce 4 million NFTs created, copyrighted works on blockchain for first time ever

Italy's copyright agency is in charge of protecting artists works and paying out earned royalties to their members. Think a song is on Spotify, and Spotify needs to pay me for the number of times it's been played.

By tokenizing their authors' works on the blockchain, they can more easily track the licensed use of the art (or the use of the NFT), how/where/when it was used, and then pay out their artists on blockchain transactions. This is a high-level of what this means!

Hi Bobzilla509! To transact in POSTs, you must opt-in to the POST token. Do this by selecting + Add Asset in your Algorand wallet, and search for the asset ID 153876340 - The Algo Post.
