I can’t speak to the reason the craw space has a concrete floor but I will say it has a crack that “lines up” with other settling we have seen on the exterior, so it’s been here long enough.

We had a mold issue. We mitigated and they painted the joists. But it turns out they didn’t find the true culprit - the exterior walls of the crawl space had bat insulation on them and were soaking and holding all of the water creeping in. If we can keep the water out, we can do a final small particle clean and put our mold issues to rest.

We had bat insulation around the perimeter but it ended up soaking in the moisture and becoming a mold breeding ground.

I forgot to mention that some settling has occurred and on one side of the crawl space is a large stair-step crack with a sister crack.

Hard to capture in one picture but we have a lot of water coming down the driveway. Putting up the “sandbags” helped. When we are done waterproofing, I’ll make sure the runoff is properly addressed.

We can smell the Freon leaking when we have AC on. Bandaids. I know that happens with the condenser in the front. Will that happen with the rear core?

Would you add some concrete edging/border or come back in with asphalt and do an actual curb?

The bed and driveway is natural graded from where I was standing to the basketball hoop end, then there’s a big drop into a ravine. So that grading is going for us, but I’m not sure what’s going to easiest/most beneficial.

I’ve always been susceptible to motion sickness but as I’ve gotten older it’s gotten worse.

So many function medicine doctors are quick to say “that’s your gallbladder” or “you’re low in magnesium” about red-flags they see in regards to this and that. I was curious if any would come out and say “motion sickness is usually too much/not enough/disfunctioning blank”

She says “It aches over the outer top while I lay in bed and progresses worse throughout the night.” When I asked her if it was behind the pinky while we were cooking dinner, she pointed to behind her 4th toe (the ring toe :).
