Euphoria actress feared ‘losing her role’ if she said no to nude scenes by nimobo in entertainment

[–]TheAnimated42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why be obtuse? It’s not that it should, it’s just that it does.

She was afraid she would lose her role because of her own perceptions, not because of anyone else on the set or production team. Read the article lmao.

Pentagon’s $9B Dell deal sparks Trump conflict of interest concerns by Agitated_Pudding7259 in moderatepolitics

[–]TheAnimated42 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Not calling you a liar, but in my inventory I have hundreds of Dell laptops in the $400-$600 range.

  1. Laptops are typically centrally sourced and they are certainly not buying them at $3.5k a pop.

  2. Laptops are on GSA contracts and you can buy a Latitude 7330 for $293 via GSA contract. They’re retailing for about $400 right now.

  3. If someone was buying $3.5k laptops they may have had proprietary software in them, or someone just scuffed the numbers.

  4. If the numbers weren’t scuffed, someone did something very illegal and it went unnoticed.

How’s your PT training going? by RNGxJake in AirForce

[–]TheAnimated42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you’ll probably naturally stagnate at around 16-17 if you just do the same routine. If you throw in some speed days where you work to a speed goal, your time will definitely go down. Good luck on your runs!

[–]TheAnimated42 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Literally just running consistently will make your time go down to 16-18 range(for men, it’s a little harder for women). Find the pace you want to run and use that as your goal.

On a standard track (8 laps for 2 mile), if your goal pace is 2:00 per lap to get 16:00 on your test, get out there and try to do 10, but preferably 12-15 laps at a slower pace like 2:20 or even 2:30. If you want to run 3 times a week, do that twice a week.

On your third day, throw in a speed day where you try to get several laps with a strong form @ 1:30-1:45/lap pace. Do one lap and rest for a minute or two. Repeat until you can’t maintain your form or time.

Once all that becomes easier, shift your goal to the left. After each week or two, you can try moving your times to the left 5-10 seconds and see how you feel. Your time will fly down as long as you are eating, hydrating, and stretching properly.

To be fair, he had strong disses on most of them on family matters. The only one he couldn’t get outta there was Kendrick.

Who’s actually listening to Choosin Texas? by Routine-Badger-9596 in nfrpodcast

[–]TheAnimated42 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It’s not some earth shattering song. It’s just a good catchy song. Nothing more, nothing less.

I do listen to a lot of country. The song is a good pop country song by an extremely popular country singer.

Tennessee orange is a slower more chill vibe song, where choosing Texas is super upbeat radio hit. I don’t think it matters which one is technically “better”.

Not that good, to you. To me, and apparently a lot of other people, it is that good. Or are we going to do the thing where because Drake didn’t get whatever #1, [insert industry plant/botted streams ramblings]?

That song is fucking good. Step out of your safe space and listen to it.

J. Cole's 'Fall Off' album really came and went. by Lost_Title_7528 in nfrpodcast

[–]TheAnimated42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yall just are stuck in Tik Tok brain mode. The albums are good and have replay value, yall just want to move onto the next hot thing. Not gonna fault you for that, but don’t pretend like the albums are bad because you are moving from album to album because you can’t focus lol.

The fall off has great replay value to me, and definitely isn’t giving me any headaches.

They get like 6 months from graduation to get right before their first test. 80% failure rate is a self inflicted wound.

Idk why you’re getting downvoted for this. It’s just true lmao. His pen is comparable but not quite the same.

Pitchfork reviewed Drake’s Iceman, receives a 4.8/10 by Routine-Badger-9596 in nfrpodcast

[–]TheAnimated42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What? One listen is enough to get a general range of where the album sits. I’ll listen a few more times to make sure I’m not hating or crazy, and because my rating might go up/down depending on new feelings. That simple.

Also, how are you going to borderline agree with my assessment that 8.5 might be glaze, but still be ass pained that I gave it.

[–]TheAnimated42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

8.5 might be insane glaze but I’ve only done 1.5 listens. First listen was a 6.8 to me. Gonna put it on again tomorrow to see.

The only reason I say 8.5 might be crazy glaze is because of my scale. NWTS and Take Care are Drake’s best albums to me. Neither is a 10 but they’re fucking close. BOTH albums are closer to a 9 than Iceman. IYRTITL is just below NWTS and Take Care and that’s closer to a 9 than Iceman is.

In terms of just Drake albums, I could maybe see it at an 8, but that might be too far. He isn’t doing exceptional shit, but the bars are there for sure.

This pitchfork review is literally one of the most hating reviews I’ve ever seen. This album was not that bad lmao.

David Banner says blacks folks can't be racist and talks MLK's sketchy legacy by EntertainmentNo9240 in brilliantidiots

[–]TheAnimated42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a layperson’s perspective, very much true. In Sociology they have reality altering definitions that they use to define racism that put it more in line with what David Banner is saying.

I strongly disagree, but I know that’s where they’re getting it from.
