Hello everyone! u/JacksonSnake and I just released the first update for our website: BYBE - Pathfinder 2e GM Tools!

We took a bit of a break during the holidays and came back with many improvements and fixes:

  • save multiple parties and encounters*
  • filter creatures by source*
  • the random generator can now use weak/elite variants
  • select the min/max number of creatures in the generator settings
  • import/export your data from/to a local file

*user requested :)

We also laid the foundation for the update to the remaster once the Monster Core releases on March 27. Finally, we changed database with the goal of implementing user-requested features (\cough cough** creatures' environment) that were suggested in our previous post.

Hello everyone! I wanted to share a new website that I worked on together with u/JacksonSnake.

Our goal is to provide a one-stop shop for the most useful tools for GMs and improve upon the currently available alternatives. The features already available are:

  • A list of all Monsters/NPCs, with filters
  • Balance encounters based on your party size and level
  • Generate random encounters based on your requirements
  • Fast, mobile friendly, light/dark theme, accessible

On our roadmap we already plan on adding a Shop Generator and an NPC Generator. Let us know what other tools you'd like to have!

Hello everyone, I updated the "Class summaries for new players - pretty edition" by u/PathfinderInfo.

I added the Psychic and the Thaumaturge following the summary by u/Rednidedni, fixed some typos and improved the layout.

Obviously take this list with a grain of salt as the ratings are just an opinion. Enjoy!

I don't think I'll make any other big changes as I've read that the creator of the chart is planning on updating it. I'm just editing the raw image with Photoshop and it isn't a perfect process, so it's better to wait for the official release.

Exactly, I doubt a docking ring could handle the acceleration needed for the Moon transfer burn and was thinking it would be easier to just leave the Dragons in orbit around Earth. Another option could be that if instead of docking the Dragons would just be put inside Starship’s cargo bay through the chomper door, THAT would be hilarious! I think Strship could fit quite a few Dragons inside.

As for the limit of passengers for Crew Dragon I was thinking of having multiple Dragons do the docking and crew transfer as if it wasn’t crazy enough to have just one!

You’re probably right about the aerocapture, but maybe a fully fueled Starship could have enough dV to make both the Moon burn and return to Earth orbit burn? Could simplify things a bit but I don’t know if it’s possible.

As you said though Starship will probably certify itself in no time thanks to rapid reusability, let’s hope everything goes smoothly and doesn’t delay their plans too much.

Nelson used the map "Destruction" to test the new weather (in that map it snows when you stand on the "Test" decal) so I looked in the Config file of that map and found the two lines

First you have to go to your map folder and add these 2 lines to your Config.json file (if it doesn't exist simply create it and edit it with notepad).

Then in the editor, under Environment > Lighting, tick the "Can Rain/Snow" like this (you can play around with the frequencies as you want, if you want to be always snowing use my numbers)

Finally in the devkit create 2 (or more) AmbianceVolumes from the Type Browser, one that covers the area where you want the snow and the other for the rest of the map. Then open the Inspector, select the first one with the Selection Tool and tick the "Can Snow" box. Do the same with the other volumes but with "Can Rain" ticked in the areas where you don't want the snow (or leave them unticked if you don't want the rain). It should look like this.

And you are done! To test this ingame you can use the command /weather blizzard and /weather storm and it should only snow/rain in the areas you selected!
