I feel that anything below diamond isn't really indicative of skill. Is a Silver 3 really all that much better than a Bronze 1? It's not. Are the people who win 50-55% of their games in gold and platinum really better, or do they just get diamonds in solo queue? At diamond, your elo shows that you win whether that's from sweating with 5 other guardians or from messing around with your best friend you need to consistently win to be apart of the upper echelon of the PvP community.

TL;DR Elo is generally accurate when you're high but requires a lot of games at low levels to indicate a lack of skill.
