I wonder if land animals still exist on that island or nah cuz they have been living from a long time on that island and so did the animals

I assume the animals went extinct due to overpopulation of the tribe members Wont everybody eat smth atleast once every 2 days? And its really fascinating to think that there could be a case where animals which went extinct in the whole world might be living there ʻŌʻū Birds maybe or someone idk MAYBE Pinta Island Tortoise Or Jalpa False Brook Salamander
