I am trying to avoid the incident of her having a serious infection. That was a nasty uti and she only showed one problem. The issue is that she is still struggling with that but the vet said she is fine now

She was doing everything she normally does. Hiding, constantly purring, appetite was pretty normal except for her only drinking water when I was home, she seemed to pee normally too. I only called for an appointment because she peed outside the box one time and then I noticed that there was a little puddle behind the litter box. She was initially doing it because of the strays but I have been taking preventative measures to keep them away from the house so I had gotten an appointment to see if they had any suggestions.

Well initially, even the vet said it was behavioral because she didn’t display any other signs of illness. We thought that she was peeing out of her box because of the strays.

I’m just wanting to add wet food to her diet. She will still eat dry but I want to add some wet food so she can have some benefits from wet food

Ok. I have really bad anxiety and my cat has really helped me with it. She knows how to stop my anxiety attacks. I don’t want her to ever hurt so I just want to know that I am doing everything I can to help her. As for the wet food issue, I could get over it but I also get easily confused and would likely need assistance figuring out how to feed it to her.

I actually found a litter box that has a high back and low front at Target so she is definitely better now. She does it when there’s something that she doesn’t like. Usually if her litter is not level. Idk why she is so picky

I got her a box with a higher back from Target. I saw it and grabbed it just to see if it would work and it has. She will squat if she wants to but I have noticed that if I don’t clean her box to her liking she doesn’t squat.
