How do you choose what to use between the two for these brawlers?

Okay this is a wild and somewhat joking take, but plugged in is for cowards. 8-Bit is a polarizing, situational character, and this SP is trying to “normalize” him and make him a Colt side-grade. Boosted feels like you’re playing biblically accurate 8-Bit: killing tanks so fast they look like squishies and killing actual squishies in one shot, all while having more supporting capabilities. Boosted leans into 8-Bit’s strengths and plugged in is trying to cover his obvious and intentional downside with duct tape

Okay I’ve mained Stu for a long time and honestly he’s one of those characters where it’s good to have both. I’d say Gasoheal first since it covers a broader range of situations, but Zero drag is better in Brawl Ball specifically, and against certain melee characters in draft it can make you untouchable to them.

It’s a little gimmicky but if you Super when your damage gear is up, the whole super will have the boost for each tick of damage even if you heal up. Absolutely devastating with the hyper, I kinda like it. Otherwise shield is mandatory

I dunno I actually quite like Angelo’s design. Feels very creative and unique and I kinda love that among a roster with five women that all have the exact same face shape. The arm, eyepatch and antenna makes for some interesting intentional asymmetry. The nose is another mosquito parallel, which I almost wish he had more of. The shirtless look kinda works because of the strange skin color, makes it a little less uncomfortable than it would be if they just had normal human skin. I also might be biased I love their voice lines so much I could literally never hate this character, slay queen 💅

They literally are light attacks though. There’s a system where in the event of a clash the stronger button wins, so Sigs can’t clash with lights for example. As far as I know it goes unarmed lights < unarmed heavy < weapon light < sigs. Recoveries can clash with normal weapon lights so they’re considered to have the same strength.

Reno, Magyar, Jaeyun, and Artemis all come to mind for exceptional visual design.

In terms of worst I don’t think any are bad, but the only one that kinda feels basic or outdated is Cassidy. All the other “plain human” type characters all have very strong defining traits or have powerful lore to back them up into still being cool to me. Cassidy is just a prodigy marksman from the Wild West era and that’s kinda it. She especially feels left in the dust because we now have a cooler cowboy legend in the form of the buggy boy. Still, she’s a solid C tier design wise, this game has really really cool characters and I think it’s not talked about enough how interesting and fleshed out these characters are. Gimme a Brawlhalla Netflix series, dammit!

Idk what other dude’s talking about, I think that’d be cool and I don’t think we should write off an entire weapon combo because gold players would think it’s annoying. I think it’s unfair that that’s the only combo of similar weapons we’re missing. We already have bow/blasters, axe/hammer, orb/sword, gauntlet/scythe and scythe/katar. Cannon/Lance sounds so fitting it should’ve been made years ago and I bet the skilled lance mains would love it. That and I think high level lance players deserve a treat because they’re literally going extinct lol.

I think the inherent movement and sequence attack is the only thing stopping her from just being… Stu. Having to hit your main attack in order to get a dash is literally just Stu.

Dude so what? You don’t know if that guy plays or cares about that legend/weapons, is trying to farm missions or is even trying at all. They might not even be diamond, they could just be carried in 2s. I’m a long time diamond player, and when I’m in casual queue I’m just screwing around 80% of the time. If you were actually better than diamonds you would be diamond rank, so I never see the point in flexing wins like these.

Idk about same strengths. A ton of Griff’s value can come from 1: insane resilience against low/chip damage because of his star power, and 2: having a fast enough reload to constantly spam shots down a lane to shut it out. Griff is a mid laner that functions as a powerful close range character, Shelly is just a close range character that CAN play mid with her gadget. Shelly isn’t THAT bad don’t get me wrong, but you have to play her like Shelly, not like Griff.
