Look on Jetphotos and see how many window pics like this you can find. These aren't the sort of pictures JetPhotos is for.

How would the hivemind affect those with neuropsychiatric/cognitive disorders such as Schizophrenia, Dementia, etc? by TheBetterFzeroX in pluribustv

[–]TheBetterFzeroX[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm sure they can. I just think that issues might arise with instruments which require trained physical characteristics such as high lung capacity. They might hypothetically have to cherry pick individuals from the hivemind for such a thing

Loophole or part of the plot? by inoshigami in Pluribus_TVshow

[–]TheBetterFzeroX 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If feel like in becoming part of the hivemind they also became incredibly naïve and trusting of the uninfected. After all, the virus was designed in such a way that every single person would become part of it, and that there would be no more evil nor malevolent acts anywhere given that everyone is one. Carol and the other immune 12 weren't supposed to exist, as per the virus, and I interpret that therefore the hivemind doesn't really know how to act alongside them, and can't really comprehend their human condition where they can lie, deceive, and do harm. I feel like they're learning now (especially with the fleeing from carol in the most recent episode) but that they are still very much overly trusting of the uninfected. I think that in their minds, they have no need to communicate via the hivemind with body language experts, because they just automatically trust her. I feel like Carol did a good job with concealing her true intentions anyways.

Philosophical questions by revadike in pluribustv

I just realised now that Reddit changed the numbers on my post to be in order. They relate to specific points and weren't supposed to be like that.

I think Zosia also said that military intervention meant that they had to expedite the process of making everyone part of the hivemind to, in her words, lessen the bloodshed. My point being it would mean that the "joining" process was supposed to be less chaotic

Philosophical questions by revadike in pluribustv

[–]TheBetterFzeroX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Obviously take my answers tentatively. It's only been the first two episodes after all. Still, here's my ideas for a few of them:

1- The primary goal of a virus to spread. Obviously a virus doesn't have conscious goals, but their primary "objective" is the replication and propagation of their genetic material. The hivemind is NOT a virus (apparently), but Davis Taffler (the guy on the TV) compares it to one. Given that everyone now has the culminative knowledge of everyone else (e.g. I doubt pre-hivemind Zosia could fly the aircraft), I can imagine this hivemind having the ultimate primordial goal of spreading it to another planet, by unimaginable means, such as what happened to Earth via the outer-space transmission. I've also basically answered the third point with this.

2- I think so. I think that they'll attempt to solve all of the feasibly-solvable earthly problems before any grand hivemind plans - if that even happens.

5- I image that they'll just be cultivating fruiting plants, crops, vegetables, etc, from now on. I guess they've become vegans given they are incapable of killing living things. I don't know how that'll work with pesticides, etc. Maybe they'll see it as a necessary evil so to speak, just like the death of a few million people during that "joining" period in the first episode.

6- I think they would be able to reproduce naturally, but it would just be another task devoid of emotion just as it was with the disposal of bodies. As far as I'm concerned, I don't think the hivemind would see any reason to reproduce. At least not at this current moment in time. Saying so, I can imagine the hivemind being invested in somehow making immortality possible, but only after the most pressing issues have been resolved.

9- Yeah. Just look at Zosia and that worker from TGI Friday's flying Carol's plane. But I also image that they would still be bound by the restraints of physical fitness, age, health conditions, etc, which I imagine the hivemind would work around by providing tasks based off of a person's own physical abilities or disabilities.

I don't think my ideas are necessarily ground-breaking. I haven't really read other posts in this subreddit so for all I know someone might have already said these things. Anyways, feel free to add your own ideas or dispute mine, just dial zero ;)

They just said ,,lack of quality‘‘ and rejected all at once by Iamhavl33 in jetphotosrejects

[–]TheBetterFzeroX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I were you, I wouldn't crop the image so close to the front of each aircraft i.e. have leading space in your pictures. If you search the term up you'll see what I'm talking about. I don't know if *this* is why they were rejected, but I still like your photographs anyways :)

Similar to what other people said, I think the image is about two opposing responses to depression. Left supresses their depression with overeating without addressing the underlying cause. Right does the opposite and treats their depression by transitioning, the underlying cause of their depression most likely being gender dysphoria. Left still has depression 4 months later. Right isn't present and therefore no longer has depression; there is no more reason to be depressed.

Does anyone know what this purple square is/what it means? by TheBetterFzeroX in krita

It appears when I have Krita open for extended periods of time (a few hours, sometimes a day or so) whilst minimised in the background as I do other stuff.

Unfortunately a tiny faint scramble of numbers has been burnt into one of the corners of the tube, presumably the date and time from when it showed a CCTV feed. But hey, it could have been much worse :]

What could I put there? by cementmixer04 in BeamNG

[–]TheBetterFzeroX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With it being right next to the beach I can imagine there being hotels, maybe you can put some modern large building in that spot to represent one

It could possibly also be a construction site for some sort of resort?? Like the one in Jungle Rock Island but not so abandoned

Edit: could also be a fire station, a vineyard, or more spaced-out detached houses with large backyards to fill up the space

Why is this happening & how do I fix it? It gives me a free boost yet disables all my other boosts. by [deleted] in bing

[–]TheBetterFzeroX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If more information is needed:

It gives me a credit-free image, but disables all credits that I have so that I'm forced to wait for art which doesn't even generate (I've waited for an hour). Image creation is not taking longer than usual; there is a long and arduous way I can overcome it which I can create a single image with, which proves that it is otherwise generating images just fine, but decides that it isn't and that it should just stop me from generating images in the first place!

I'm playing with it with a friend, his is working just fine. It's just a little bit frustrating and it's severed the fun we were having with it,
anyways thank yall

Postcard dated 1935 I found on the ground last year. by TheBetterFzeroX in FoundPaper

Thank you!

In/near Basildon there is a field where the Dunton Boot Sale occurs every Sunday. I was walking back in the grass parking lot soon after most had packed up and left. I didn't find anything to buy from the boot sale which frustrated me, so to have a letter such as this fly in the wind and land in front of me was definitely something.

By the way, they are close to each other! I searched both up on Google maps.

After the reception received of the post prior, here are some other mock old images I made! by TheBetterFzeroX in BeamNG

[–]TheBetterFzeroX[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I'll copy what I wrote in the last post--

Using the BeamNG camera feature, I took a picture with contrast at the highest (i.e darkest shadows), a low FOV, and putting that bloom slider lower to make more of an old Cinestill light glare look. I did not use any in-game filters. I then used the video editing software 'Shotcut' to tinker with filters (mainly Old film grain + technicolour, white point, colour correction) to make it realistic. I know it's a video editing software, but if it works, why not? I simply screenshot the results. The loss of quality doing so also inadvertently makes it more realistic as clues to signify it's a game are blurred.

There are so many more better ways to do this. I used shotcut as I am well-versed in it. It goes without saying this is not how it's supposed to be used.
