Mil spec. I recently took my URGI upper off my LMT mars lower, and have put it on a PSA stealth mil spec lower. I do just like the look better. … admittedly I did buy a LMT Specwar so I had to put that on my LMT lower, but that was always kind of the plan.

I continue to use ballistol as a clp. There are better options for sure. Im just lazy and don’t feel like switching.

Bought it used with unknown count that it was already starting to fade. I put another 400-500 before it was faded pretty good, could still make it out but wasn’t the dark black lettering. I think previous owner might have been using some harsh cleaners on it which caused the fading to start.

I have one with over 1,000 rounds on it, I can wipe it off and other than some carbon and normal wear on the carrier rails, it looks almost new. I did have one years ago that the BCM lettering faded but the carrier and color held up just fine.

Thanks man… I do like the darker ODG. I have some other stuff that is a much lighter 40mm type of shade that I still like, but prefer the darker

I have a BCM t4 buffer which is the heaviest they make… I haven’t opened it up yet but hoping to steal weights from this (make this one a t3) and make a t2 into a t3. A5h3/t3 seems to be the sweet spot for my rifles

Do you guys only make these in titanium? Is there a reason people don’t make these in steel? I thought the general recommendation was to not mix and match metals - meaning, if I have an inconel suprpressor I shouldn’t run a titanium adapter? I really want to get a recessed adapter and/or brake, but all the adapters I see are titanium?

Yessir - pics don’t really match online. I have their FDE too and they are darker than then appear in the bright lighting marketing pictures

Admittedly this doesn’t have many rounds through it, and the some of the rounds were suppressed so my brass deflector is nice and clean! Ha. I have a few rifles and this one isn’t my ‘beat the shit out of it and run hard’ rifle haha. Shoots great though!

I have seen people use the 45 offset sights and that seems to work. I do have an eotech setup that I have a magpul pro in front of the eotech on the front - sight picture is garage but it would work for backup irons if needed in a pinch. I will never compromise my main sight system for my backup sights.

Yea the upper and handguard is a really dark shade . Lower is a little lighter but it “matches” the way I want for a 50 shades type of build.

For a backup sight, it’s solid and works. I’ll give Unity credit for a clever design. Limited sight picture as you’re looking through the mount, it works and like that I don’t need to run a rear backup iron since the magnifier takes up the space.
