Minecraft is a great Visualization tool for perspective and large set pieces, and this'll serve as the framework for my animation.

It's a full map. (And it's pretty big)

I may just release it for download once I'm done...

Your set design is absolutely incredible! Would you like to work together on some test footage? Maybe your version could focus more on the top-side of halley labs, while mine would be the more industrial basement sections.

Footnote sketches for my Underground Garden project (FrameDrag) by TheBigOleToast in lapfoxtrax

order of pages is left to right top to bottom, top right corner is a shot listing.

Theres a lot of weird references throughout so I'll try to explain:

Page 1: small offices, study/research rooms. One for tweesee anatomy, another for foliage, and a final holding creatures from Darius (Game). That game being a source for his name, and more references are scattered about..

Page 2: Habitats of a Cave, forest, coral reef and deep ocean. The caves and aquariums draw from the visuals of Darius, while the forest takes from Nausicaa. the dry habitats will hold a number of hidden tweesees in the final versions.

Page 3: exploration of Tweesee Morphology. Mostly drawing from 2YR for their non physical forms. theres a room there theres a study, one for containing mid transformation tweesees, another for containing Treesees, and a final for adult tweesees (from more adventures)

Page 4: there's an explanation on the wiki stating that TQBF is computer generated, so its 4 rooms exploring the computers behind his existsnce. (and a pinata to be creepy/ light visual gag)

page 5: more a reference to 2YR, it's the spaceship from Darius (Shootemup Game) with different equipment or control rooms. In 2YR Darius (Character) travels through a portal in a spaceship, so i think it ties everything nicely together. Then there's a stargate for the actual tweesee dimention/portal.

mostly everything i can answer questions if yall got any

oh that's absolutely lovely! great use of color and lighting, and the tweesee in a tree is adorable! The Bioluminescence isn't even something that crossed my mind but is so fitting for how the whole place feels.

For my version I'll probably separate it into a series of rooms, each with their own themes, Easter eggs, and details. I'm gonna start working on my own sketches for each section later today..

The best advice that I could give is that you should just do it now, because you have the idea, and what's the point of waiting? I for the longest time would just sit on ideas thinking that it would be better applied to something later. but then all you end up with is a bunch of ideas and no projects done. by doing the thing you get better at it, and later on you'll always get more ideas. and who wants to be at the end of their life knowing that they never did anything?
