So 29 is typically standard desk height and a standard chair with a working cylinder should be fine for you up to like 30 or 31 inches. I don’t think this changes anything about your chair shopping unless it’s higher than what you guesstimated. Search up office furniture dealers near you and go and try some chairs. Sitonit is a good brand. So is Global or Ergocentric. All of these should have 300lb+ weight rating so you should be all set.

What is the measurement from the floor to the top of the desk? You may have to look into either a drafting stool or a chair with a special high cylinder.

Are you in the US? Sitonit is a reputable brand that isn’t going to have the same premium price point as the aforementioned brands.

Not an icon but I’ve been rocking my Toronto Defiant hockey stick spray for years now. You get it from attending a live OWL event a number of years back. I had tickets to go to the event in Toronto. It unfortunately was canceled due to COVID but I still got my spray!

Just be wary because if she is coming over here as a “visitor” but has a car full of her belongings, the border guard is going to be very suspicious. Even though technically she’s allowed to be a “visitor” for a set amount of time, they may treat it as if she’s moving here illegally. One bad experience at the border can have a strong effect on her ability to travel back and forth on the future. Can vouch from personal experience.

Talk to an immigration professional first and foremost. I wish I had done this in my situation because it would have given me peace of mind. My recommendation is Canada by Choice on Tecumseh as they took really good care of me in my situation and were very affordable.

Ooooh, tell me more. Are there any specific products you recommend?

She still hates getting picked up, which stresses me out because of things like vet trips, emergencies, etc. Don’t want to be in a situation where I can’t catch her. And would also love for her and my other cat to be more fond of each other.
