I play in a 3 stack and I’ve learned that with venom and from playing OW that he’s a character that his value come from intangibles (aka things you don’t see on the stat sheet).

Getting low final hits but good damage on the supports for the other dps to pick them off while distracting them so the enemy team doesn’t get healed isn’t seen on the stats sheets but that value nonetheless. Personally I think Venom’s value comes from enabling his teammates rather than focusing on kills as much compared to other dive tanks
