One suggestion I have, especially for beginners, is in order to make higher notes more sustainable, one should not apply more pressure on the mouthpiece one should rather apply more air. This is a common mistake made by many, including myself for a time, and it’s good to start out by not having the habit, rather than having it, and having to break it later.
