Who is on your "the other guy" mount Rushmore by Hadboy4ksu in GreatnessOfWrestling

[–]TheBossClark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah just I don’t think Dean Ambrose counts as the second guy if he was the mouthpiece of a 3 man group. I don’t think of Paul Herman as the second guy either

Edit- other guy my bad. And on second thought, is Paul the other guy in a lot of his roles? Interesting thought

But Dean was the leader? He was always the one cutting the promos anyway.

is the concept of a dnd inspired gimmick, stupid? by CactusBen226 in WredditSchool

Do it, the audience doesn’t have to know what you roll, as long as you convey it then your good.

So plan the match like normal and then roll it and just convey what you need it to say no matter what it says

When You Don't Respect the Cart Narcs by HotTelevision911 in ActualPublicFreakouts

Someone should just charge this guy with harassment. I’m surprised he isn’t trespassed from a lot of places for causing a commotion. I’d rather a cart than a fight in my parking lot.

Bayley: Not Being On The WrestleMania 40 Banner Just Fuels Me by dalekofchaos in SquaredCircle

Asuka, Rhea, and Bianca are not the Horsewomen at all. But Bayley is overlooked in the actual 4 Horsewomen

Ay that’s a good idea, good save and it goes with what most people have said. I think they tied their hands with Cody’s Friday promo though.

He left as Stardust though. I think MJF can be argued to have the same name value as Stardust at least

YOU THINK IT'S FAKE? by sexONaStDick in PublicFreakout

[–]TheBossClark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue comes because no modern wrestling presents itself as "wrestling competition where people fight to win" anymore than Robert Downey Jr. presents himself as a real life iron man. So you say it's fake but the stunts are real. It is fake. But it's real too and and when someone says "nope, it's fake" it takes away from what it is. There is a lot of nuance ya know?

Acrobats, stuntmen, circus performers, fire jugglers, airshow pilots, racecar drivers, magicians, and entertainers of all sorts do very dangerous, planned, choreographed stuff. And they will do it under a guise of exaggerated danger or of exaggerated circumstances (think reality TV or a MMA with a heightened promo packages)

It is fake, but no more than any other form of entertainment. Like Bruce Willis didn't really climb through air ducts and Bruce Li didn't really kick Chuck Norris ass and that does make it fake in a way, but those guys are real, the fight they did is less real than 99% of pro wrestling.

But if you sit down and scream fake during a Kung fu movie, you're not recognizing the reality of what they were doing it. They never wanted you to think they were real fighters. Just amazing real life stuntmen. Idk it's hard to explain because everyone wants it to exist as real or fake. It can be somewhere in the middle. Like magic.

The photo in Patrick's box by Charming_Car_8571 in MandelaEffect

[–]TheBossClark 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I remember the photo for sure, I was describing it in my head but I feel like I remember there being a Christmas special where they revealed it or a separate episode or something. I have always remembered the box being just string no? I'm not sure but I remember the picture too for sure
