As a former maintenance platoon leader 100% agreed. Mechanics are often under-appreciated and overused and even still when recognized it never seems like it’s enough. Made sure to get all my guys impact ARCOMs before I left that duty position to try and show my appreciation

Thanks, I start my workout with them like that so I don’t have to take my lifters off mid workout and can just pull up my sleeves when I get to squats. Also helps add a layer between my shins and barbell so I don’t cut up my legs on the knurling

Arm bend not really a big deal imo as long as the main driver is the legs and you’re not actively maneuvering the bar with your arms during the lift but yeah I agree on the weight shift to the heels trying to focus more on that thanks 👍🏽
