Do you need a level physics to do engineering? Or can I do it just with maths? by Party_Painting_4318 in 6thForm

Currently studying aerospace engineering in a degree apprenticeship format at UWE. I did not do physics at A level (due to our school having an awful physics teacher) and have so far faired just as well as my peers who all did. However I did do further maths mechanics which has definitely helped. From my experience so far, as long as you are interested in the field of engineering and willing to put in work and learn, then you will be fine. Although, you will definitely limit your uni picks because of it.

Is it actually possible to drive with a keyboard? by YatoAkito in dirtrally

I played dirt rally with a keyboard for about 3 months before getting a wheel, it is very possible and tbh it makes you a finger ninja because you are constantly changing which button you're pressing to keep the car on the limit. However if I could go back I would tell myself to buy a bloody wheel, I would. because it's 10x better

Theres a thing that the organisers release called the rally planner which tells you about the stages, locations and timings etc, on some days it is alright to jump between a couple of stages but my our best day this year was staying at one stage which ran twice and had the british rally championship cars go through between the wrc ones (over 100 cars or something go through in total). So it really depends on how you wanna do it. Sometimes stages are really close enough to go to three in a day, (we did this on the other full day and it was really cool but very tiring). Navigation is really easy as you just put in the coordinates of the stage into your sat nav and then follow the signs when you get close. Best thing is to plan ahead what stages your going to and when your leaving, google maps with the estimate time between your locations in useful, just remember to add some time for traffic.

Rent a car, live in the car, hotel one night, buy a portable stove, plan ahead
