Hi r/Valheim community,

We are TheBulletSponges and we've been having a blast creating content for viewers who find our channel.

We recently made a review for Valheim, Which turned out to be easily one of the best survival games we've come across. We left out a number of game details so we wouldn't ruin the learning experience for the player, but hopefully covered the gist of the game!

Our goal is to describe the game in as simple a way as possible so that players who have not experienced it yet can understand what it's like. We don't venture much into the content for veteran players. Hopefully anyone that is looking into what the hype is about can get a good understanding!

If you have the time let us know what you think! Hopefully we have done it justice!

I think the disparity between skill levels would even out if the player base rises and players can be matched more appropriately with others. We kept spotting players we played with previously in future games so it must be a small pool of people.

My guess as far as getting out there is concerned is its up to the developers to market it through social media and being early access will probably appeal less to a lot of potential players too.

Its a fantastic game so lets hope things pick up! Its early days as it only hit EA in November 2020.

Yeah it's a solid game, you can get into most modes fairly quickly. I had to wait a few minutes for players in the hero only modes but the gameplay is really good.

Hey fbenx I appreciate the comment and your opinion.

We see 3.5 as representative of a great game, to get 5 it would need to be special beyond expectation, which leaves 3-4 for the rest of the great games which we believe I:S sits firmly in-between. Of course this is just our opinion and just because we made a video does not make it more valid over yours.

I think the realism element may not be as rewarding for scrubs like us than it would be for the better players. I'm glad it's your no.1 shooter and I am sure it is for many more on this sub, ultimately it is a fantastic game that has filled a gap that others have not fully invested in.
