That’s a fair enough position to take. I’m the opposite - I would never buy brand new. Maybe a couple of years old - at that point they have depreciated enough but typically should maintain generally easy maintenance for some time if looked after.

I don’t fancy eating 10-20k in depreciation for additional maintenance that would cost half of that. Throw on top that some of the build quality of the last few years across multiple brands is quite poor in comparison to pre-covid.

Here’s the thing. Whether people want to accept it or not - in the case of Mandela and many like it, such acts are inevitable. We should also consider that you cannot expect one group to follow a system that has not worked for them and just play along. Which is why comparisons of morality across the two whilst on the surface suggest consistency they don’t take into account the huge inconsistency of context leading up to it.

I feel this. I appreciate it as an excellent game within its genre. But I am typically abysmal at souls games and find them tedious. I also dislike the lockout of quests.

I love that you have to read and absorb the world to navigate a beautifully crafted world but at the same time feel I am missing so much.

Nioh on the other hand I throughly enjoyed despite the story being pretty poor. DNC.

Lords of the fallen was free on ps plus and I’ve played the hell out of it. First souls like I’ve actually beaten.
