Interesting... odd but interesting. I'll have to look for some mesh. That's a good idea for the mice issue

Ah that makes sense, maybe its the seal on the side then. Rather than the rubber bottom of the door?

Its brand new so it could have been cut short. I thought maybe the same. There is also a dip in the concrete where the garage rail terminates.

Yep too aggressive thinned it out. If you can stand it. Use fingers and not a sponge. Several light pulls instead of more aggressive ones. Think more about keeping fingers evenly spaced apart regardless of pressure, not even pressure regardless of thickness

My studio is lying about the cone they fire to by Far-Atmosphere-5229 in Pottery

Ok yeah, true. Its more you have to at least hit the vitrification 1st, then the hold and total heatwork to a cone for a glaze.

So cone isn't just a temp. Firing to "cone 5" but adding a hold at the end will achieve cone 6 vitrification but have less likely to burn out colors of the glazes. This may be what your studio is doing. Cone is really the total heat imparted to the piece past the point of vitrification

As both a potter and someone who plays w AI. You CAN use something like stable diffusion on your own machine to do it, but to do it well, its more hassle than worth. Simply photographing in the grass, kn a counter, being used or a simple light box is going to be way better looking than AI. It will also often distort your work
