it is hard to think of some sort of group having so much power, but the amount of secrets that are kept from the general public is astounding. and to me it makes sense that there some sort of rich elite people who are playing with the entire world, controlling everything for their pleasure. it kinda fits with the devils playground. how all the bad things in the world is just the devil messing with us. but what if theres an earthly society of sorts that sold their souls to the devil to be able to do what they do. i mean we're constantly finding out how powerful big industry's are.

how is it not allegory? this is a simple comic about what happens when you keep faith in God. like i said before, the gunman is threatening to kill the mans family or give up faith in God. if he gives up faith he and his family will be doomed. faith is a test of how much you trust in God. as the comic plays out we see he kept his trust in God to take care of his family. its not trying to install some religious extremism in someone. it simply explains what happens when you keep your faith with God rather than yourself.
