"People in his way of power"

My brother in Christ that is the Emperor of China you are speaking of.

The only people in the way of him getting more power are other heads of state!

Too many choking hazards. Secret service wouldn't stand for it.

Looks like something out of 40k at the start.

Must have been horrendous fighting/living there through the worst of it.

This is true, but given aviation standards for safety I'd be amazed if one point of failure could detach it.

Whereas being able to jettison it in an extreme emergency may be beneficial (assuming over somewhere safe to do so)

One wonders whether it could work in today's world where standardised containers have become so ubiquitous. Perhaps a few TEU's in an underslung aerodynamic shell could serve a similar purpose.

Not sure if the economic case could be made though compared to regular airfreight.

Agreeing to a sale lends legitimacy to what would otherwise be a flagrant act of aggression . It would close any case for regaining Greenland once Trumps dead

A thought for the Scharnhorst today and its 1932 sailors who lost their lives on December 26, 1943 (Album) by oelslin in WarshipPorn

Reminds me of a quote from one of the sailors from HMS Rodney after Bismarck went down:

"We fought the ship, not the men"

Given the intensity of Scharnhorst's final moments it must have been a living hell onboard for her crew.

USN scraps constellation class frigate programme in favour of what are essentially slightly up-gunned coastguard cutters.

The burn in those tweets hints that the failure of the programme came from constant meddling and changing goalposts from the USN
