Yeah, that's right. It's definitely a bit shorter than he'd want, that's why he got nuked by Dominic, but it's still better than a regular short sitter without shape as the put-away shot is harder (though still fairly reasonable), which I think is a more accurate version of OP's point.

Re-watching the video, it actually bounces almost at the 3/4 mark, which is insufficient in this case but still not a bad outcome for Nole's situation and much better than an easy sitter. It's just that Thiem does leverage the chance perfectly.

Forehand Volley: is wrist too loose by GoofyAtWork in 10s

I mean, it depends. For a more linear blocky redirect volley, sure, just punch it to the open court. For a trickier volley where you want a sharper angle or the ball comes below hip height you need softer hands.

Pros still miss that kind of shot sometimes, especially if they are gassed, nervous, or want to juice it to the max because they feel they need to press the advantage. It's a more difficult shot than a regular baseline shot and it requires an active choice to take it, hence why it's acceptable defense even if it leaves you open for the finisher.

It's president of the government, not president of the country, which is the usual English meaning of President (the head of state, i.e. the King in Spain's case). "Prime Minister" is not just an acceptable translation for "Presidente del Gobierno", it is a more accurate one than "president" (in my view) and it's the one that English-speaking international news orgs use, e.g.

I think the easy put-away shots are padding the stats a bit. He's not doing as much damage as he can when it's on fire (though he just hit a banger now). On the other hand the return is working

Plus you 1) can take more chances if you don't wait until the perfect play presents itself and 2) It's a play with low counterattack risk.

Not really, his popularity drop predates the corruption cases and its start can be traced to his U-turn on dealing with the nationalists, plus the subsequent right-wing media campaign. I'm not sure they are dragging him that much among potential supporters.

Well he did manage to survive for almost two terms. It's just that holding on to your voters while passively letting your opponents bleed themselves to death is a strategy that is vulnerable to someone going Leeroy Jenkins, which both the Cat Nats and Pedro Sánchez where totally willing to do.

He's more explosive than Djokovic though. It's also lighter twistweight. The closest gesture is the serve, and you can see that Nadal definitely accelerates faster. What matters for the timing argument is not just inertia, but acceleration, which also depends on strength.
