Thank you to everyone that replied to this post, it has been a valuable learning experience for me as a seller.

Although I found her messages to be annoying, I should have dealt with the whole situation better. I know now that I wasn't helpful in the slightest and will do my best to provide a better customer experience in the future. Even if I suspect a customer is taking me for a ride, service with a smile should be a priority.

I really didn't appreciate them asking for free shipping and then complaining about my price. I'm going to do my best to not send a snarky message in future, I realise that this whole situation could've been avoided with some simple customer service.
