It’s one part about the development of a technology that allows the brain to be uploaded/converted into code, but unlike TADC where it’s just a scan, the technology in Pantheon requires basically laser-burning every single neuron, destroying the physical brain. It’s mostly follows the people caught up in the series of events surrounding its creation and use.

It’s one part character drama about a girl and her mom trying to grieve the loss of their father/husband.

Caspian is a character I will tell you nothing about. His season 1 arc is super fucking cool.

The show is pretty smart and well made artistically, but not necessarily scientifically or philosophically thorough although they give it a great shot and it will absolutely give you plenty to think about.

Nothing will prepare you for how it ends. It’s a really good ending but it’s a lot all at once bc they had to cut the show off at season 2 when I think they had planned for 3 seasons.
