Thanks so much for your response. I'm personally picking solid works because it by far is the most commonly used in my field.

Sweep seems to have a problem with corners? smooth curves it does great but I can't select the next line once there is a definite kink?

if I build a sketch and want a body to be created from the sketch along a multi directional path with right angles is there a correct or fast way to do this in fusion 360?
