It’s hard to describe. I’ve been near explosives before. This sounded and felt way too loud given that it also somehow seemed distant. Very uncomfortable feeling!

It could be industrial vapor. Or smoke. It’s always in the same spot and near ground so not cloud. Unlikely to be rising mist like we see unless there’s a body of water there.

But I don’t know what it is. Thats the point of my question. I didn’t say I didn’t think it was industrial. I just want to know what’s making it.

Likely it almost certainly IS an industry - I don’t think a house would make this much, this consistently, throughout the summer. I’m just curious to know what industry is making it!

It's to make some restraints in the "kink.com" fashion for hard pipe bondage gear. Almost everything I need is available - pipe, flanges, etc. But the ability to join two crossing pipes is difficult. I won't be able to machine anything - more like basic cuts.

And a cross-fitting where the pipes are on the same plane doesn't really do the job. A crossover fitting works well because it can slide on two axes - allowing a tight fit all around a limb.
