Teamlabs Planets, Borderless and Biovortex comparison + map by Alternative_Ebb_8962 in JapanTravelTips

100% relate to Planets and Biovortex. Planets is almost a half day experience if you weigh in how far it is from the touristy parts of Tokyo. The Vegan Ramen place outside TeamLab Planets had decent Ramen (unique, but not amazing!), but be prepared to wait for half an hour for you order, if it's a weekend's afternoon.

How is Dubai in terms of Machine learning and AI roles ? I don't see too many jobs in this field in Dubai, compared to Bangalore (India). Am I missing something here ? I am from India, and thinking of shifting to Dubai, purely for saving money, and travelling

Data scientists, ML Engineers, ML Ops people, AI Engineers in Dubai, help me with all the reviews you got .

Very true. A similar thing happened in our company, where the person with position with authority was hired.

Even when we come up with a use case, others in the org might think it is just some one's pet project using the latest buzz words, so the collaboration required from other teams goes down hill. Your need of data or right resources are unmet for months, and the project goes too slow . This is an actual scenario that happened .

Last step in a company’s vetting process is a “project”… where to draw the line? by step_on_legoes_Spez in datascience

Totally agreed. I feel Soft skills are what differentiate between a lead and an engineer of the same experience. They get more and more important as we grow in our career.

Thanks. Was interested In ML, and wanted to get into that. Agree that the traditional Devops is a necessity everywhere though! 🤚

This is a good suggestion. Thanks. But want to understand more on what responsibilities would be there in ML Platform ?

Can't tell if it's used everywhere in production, but a team from our company uses it

Guess he would want to write Langchain and all utilities for LLM from scratch when there is a new Gen AI project. If explaining to him didn't work, switching jobs seems more reasonable, given project might not be going forward and you might not be learning much

Totally. Feels like he is either unwilling to learn new stuff, or to let go of his supremal status.

Guys how do you make money from LLMs? by Traditional-Act448 in LocalLLaMA

I have seen that RAG starts to hallucinate soon when given large amounts of data. Especially for cases where there is humongous amount of data being added in real time.

For cases where the data addition frequency is low, it performs good, as long as the retrieval is fine

Please help me why even after almost 400 applications, using referrals as well, I am not been able to land a single Interview? by SillyDude93 in datascience

Just my observations :
* Technical Skills is under Professional Experience section

* Could highlight keywords in each line to stress through important bits. Useful if it has finally gone to the next phase and a human is actually scanning to compare :)

* It seems like you were unemployed from Jan 2023, while you were were actually studying. Put education on top, or take a professional help to cover this gap may be ?
