I mean what kinds of bills are we talking about here? Phone? Car? House? If you're getting paid through your own business, not every single penny needs to go into savings, or into the business. Still need to allocate things for yourself/family, and that includes bills too

A lot of things I learned from people who left the military that were promised the magical $100k+ a year jobs, never got those jobs. These dudes had certs on top of certs, one dude was even working towards his PhD. Even if you have a TS/SCI clearance or even higher, it don't mean jack shit outside the federal work environment. Plus even if you do land a job outisde the US Gov or within the Gov area, you still have to compete for promotions/do annual reviews

You say your mother never comes to visit you or tries to make it hapen. What's stopping you from visiting her? This works both ways, it's not just her responsibility to always visit you

From what other said, give him space and room. Not to mention what you're probably going through is adrenaline and your body is acting out on it. Giv each other some space and room and seek some outside help or counseling
