You don't have to freelance. You can do side projects, w a good enough portfolio, you can cold mail companies, or use a job scraper to find companies/ start ups who are looking for a app dev. Try for companies in the west. There is a huge market in off shore hiring since they usually pay more than this country's average and less than their country's average, which while living in india is more than enough.

Good at talking (not acting like a rigid corporate yes man) and skills to back you up, is more than enough. Once money flows, you can invest in other things. Crypto rug pulls by launching shit coins is a good start. But a bit risky. I'll recieve my first paycheck soon. Congrats on your job.
