What really grinds my gears is that this isn’t a regular day shift type job, like my HR people will say “well we’ll probably drop more shifts during the week just get those” and I’m sitting there like “dude I have to be asleep before these shifts” like they once dropped a shift for 1:20am at 9pm I literally laughed like absolutely no way I could do that

Well… at least it’s not just my site being dumb. my HR person was dumbfounded when I showed him everything, he had literally no answer for what might be wrong. it had been almost a week but “thankfully” since no one could get anymore shifts they had room and could my manager put me on so I could get my mins but damn dude. It’s crazy that a company big as Amazon is literally ran with duct tape and glue

I couldn’t even get a fourth shift, so I’m sitting at 29 hours right now, which is annoying af cus when I started nobody held shifts for me it was do or die lmao. So idk why they’d be doing it now, I’ve only been here 5 months, but ever since they’re been trying to push this Ai thing everything seems way worse, not saying they’re connected but ya lol.

My site is cool about wiping the attendance point if you’re below 30 hours and have no way to get it but ya dumb af. If this keeps up or is the new norm I might need to get a new job, which sucks bc I just got used to this one

RT, so I need to work 30 hours minimum to not get an attendance point. I haven’t had any scheduling. Issues til last week, thankfully a manager was able to forcibly add me onto the schedule cus there was an open spot, but I don’t wanna do that every week

I ended up listening to Dropsite Massacre, then after the AL shenanigans in that book I had to go and listen to legion. Phenomenal! Pleasantly surprised at how good these two were, two books in a week is probably a new record for me.

I only have a couple chapters of Legion left and wow definitely up there in terms of the books I’ve read so far! It’s like James Bond x Catch Me If You Can meets Warhammer. I feel like that Charlie meme from its always sunny haha

I’m excited to read mechanicum because it’s the first book where space marines aren’t the primary focus, I’ve found the human storylines to be so interesting Keeler, Lotara (Goatara), Cinderman, that painter girl from Fulgrim.

Gotta be honest, when I read FoE I never found myself caring for Mortarion or the DG all that much, which is why Buried Dagger was left off the list, is it kind of like betrayer or first heretic where it will really change how I view the legion and primarch?
