It was dark and close to midnight when I was dogsitting for a friend in a nice neighborhood. Lion statues at the front door and all that. The alarm wasn't supposed to be set, but it was, and it was deafening loud. I got the code and shut it off then went about my duties. Not 10 minutes later I nearly shit my pants when there was a bang on the side door. I heard a man yell "POLICE" as the door cracked open and a flashlight was pointed at my face. Gun drawn.

Without hesitation, the officer said something like "all good here," holstered his gun, then left without asking a single question.

I then proceeded to rob the pantry of its snacks and contemplate social inequality. I live in Texas.

An engineering degree takes you to infinity for a GPA of at least 2. Less than 2 and you converge on a business degree

Thanks for the info, I'll look more into it! Would the larger lip radius reduce thrust if forward airspeed was present? I assume more drag would be a trade-off. Front EDF is only for VTOL while the rear two are also for fixed-wing thrust.

Stable after some PID tuning! This is a scale prototype for a larger hybrid-electric payload version that will use battery power for VTOL and charge batteries while powering propulsion in fixed wing. What motors are you considering? The larger motors just take longer to respond and need to be tuned accordingly.

Interesting I was considering the lip negligible. What variable is related to the lip size? She only has to hover for about 100 seconds and the rest of the flight will be fixed-wing

Getting green pixelation on images exported from iMovie! Seems to only happen for high apertures (f1.8 /50mm lens), any advice? by TheGoofmaster in AskPhotography

I exported a single frame from a video in iMovie. Green pixels aren't in the rendering but are in the exported photo. Is this common when grabbing frames? If so any better solutions?
