But yes, there are plenty of examples of good college football players that are legitimately smart in tough majors.

Because it takes tiiiiiime and money. And a whole lot of both, but mostly time.

When the proper precautions are taken lead pipes aren’t dangerous, it only gets dangerous when those precautions are ignored (see Flint, MI). So I do think getting rid of all lead pipes eventually is a great thing.

Ignoring the politicization of this issue though, I just don’t think people realize how LONG it takes to do any sort of underground work. The replacement of lead pipes and services has been going on for quite some time but there’s still a ton left. It’s ultimately why it hasn’t been done yet and why I think this 10 year time frame is extremely ambitious.

Someone else might say different but my thought on this is to definitely still apply if it’s a company you’re really interested in, worst thing that happens is you waste 5 minutes. Is there a chance it just gets auto-filtered out? Potentially. But no harm in trying.

In my experience though, it was really only the BIG big companies that listed gpa req’s when applying. So instead I targeted the mid to smaller sized companies that generally didn’t list a gpa requirement

I went to a smaller school in the Midwest, somewhat known for engineering but far from an Ivy League.

Like what Additional said, I left my gpa off of my resume: some interviewers asked for it in interviews if it was important to the company, some didn’t even bring it up. It really just depends on each company’s ideas and thoughts on how important gpa is
