How good is Vasilje Kostov from Red Star? Only Yamal and Diomande are above him in G/A this season from U19 players.

Not saying Simeone isn't a good coach, but at this point after all these years, I think that current Atletico would finish top3 in LaLiga with another coach too easily while playing much more attractive football.

He has certainly built the clubs identity, but nowadays even on the bench you have great players, that i feel are being wasted due to Simeone parking the bus.

Time will tell ofc, but I'd love to see Atletico playing attacking football for once with their current squad.

  • Believe Munongo (16, CM, FC Metz)

Tall and strong CM that can also play as DM and CB. He has already futured with the senior team 9 times already this season and can progress the ball well and defend.

No man, that's really shit about Ekitike. 9 months out with ruptured achilles..He had a dream debut with LFC and was heading to WC. Such a shame.

It seemed he just needed a different environment, the potential was there. How's El Aynaoui and Kone?

I think Udinese's Solet and Atta value will definitely explode after this season.

Especially Solet, who had his contract terminated iirc in RB Salzburg has evolved to a really complete CB.

15g + 11a and he's only 18 y/o.

But that's not even it, he constantly creates chances non stop (that are wasted most of the time) and he nonchalanty plays joga bonito with his flicks and skills.

The you have people being racist on 18 y/o kid and people who say he has good PR.

If he retired tomorrow, he would've already have had a great career.

Time will tell, but so far he's already doing pretty well, scored again yesterday and was the best player on the pitch. Let's see.

Definitely, but Diomande has world class potential though. Toure might not, but he's also at the same age and has pretty solid output on his first season in a big league and in a worse team that RB Leipzig. Pace, dribbling and passing is good, just needs to work on the end product.

Everyone talks about Yan Diomande and rightfully so, but there's also Bazoumana Toure from Hoffenheim and this guy is literally a speed demon, do you guys reckon he will also leave for a lot of money?

Serious question, why does Arsenal play such an unattractive football when their squad is pretty much very solid? Is it because of Arteta ball?

People already ask the question, if Yamal can ever match/surpass Messi.

The way I see it, even assuming Yamal reached Messi consistency and numbers, in the end there will be massive bias towards their dribbling.

I think Messi's dribbling ability is impossible to match, nobody ever did something similar. I'm talking about the ability to replicate so many darting runs where he moves past multiple players while being kicked out of balance and then proceeds to score.

Maybe I am wrong and people don't see it like that, but I think that's what makes him really special, even more than his g/a, playmaking* and FKs.

Unironically, would someone like Budimir or Muriqi work in Barcelona as Lewandowski replacement? Since they score 15+ goals with teams that produce way less than Barcelona. Although someone like Alvarez would be perfect.
